Africa is a vast and diverse continent, spanning 54 countries and covering an area of over 30 million square kilometres. It is home to approximately 1.2 billion people, representing a wide range of cultures, languages and traditions. The continent is known for its beautiful landscapes, including vast Sahara desert, the Serengeti plains, the continent's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, forests and savannahs, as well as its abundant wildlife that includes lions, elephants, and giraffes. However, Africa also faces many challenges, such as poverty, disease, and conflict. Despite these challenges, the continent has a rich history and is increasingly playing a significant role in the global economy and politics, with many of its countries experiencing rapid economic growth and development.
