Sacramento

Sacramento, capital of California, US, lies at the junction of Sacramento River and the American River. The Old Sacramento looks back to the Gold Rush era marked with wooden sidewalks and wagon rides. The California State Railroad Museum depicts the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, one of the country’s earliest technological advancements.
