Why do we Invent !!

We say necessity is the mother of invention. But why the necessity?

Its because we the human beings are actually very free souls trapped in this human body. So whenever we do inventions, we try to overcome the limitations of this human body.

Our human body has many limitations. We can see till a limited distance only. We can't see what is inside something. Similarly we can hear a person from a short distance only. We can Walk or Run at a limited speed only. We can swim but can't Fly.

So, we started inventing devices to overcome these limitations.

Like, with our naked Eyes we can see till a limited distance only, so we invented Binocular, Telescope, X-ray machine and Microscope to overcome the limitations of our Eyes. We can say these inventions are "Extensions of our Eyes".

Similarly, when we speak or even shout only a person at a short distance can hear us, so we invented Loudspeaker, then Telephone and now Mobile Phone to be able to speak to people living anywhere in the world. That is overcoming the limitations of our Mouth and Ears we can say or the "Extension of our Mouth and Ears".

Also see when we walk or even run we can attain a limited speed only. So we invented Wheel, Cart, Bicycle, Scooter, Motorcycle, Car, Train. These inventions are to overcome the limitations of our legs or in a way "Extension of our Legs".

We can't Fly by just flapping our hands like birds, so we invented Glider, Aeroplane and Helicopter.

We can lift limited load using our hands,

so we invented Cranes. These are "Extension of our Hands".

We can swim in water, but we can't carry loads or carry other people by swimming, so we invented Boat and Ship.

All these inventions, which are extensions of different parts of our body had such a great impact on our society as they totally changed the way we live.
